A New Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
So we have found a new cookie recipe, I know we found it on Pinterest and if I find the link I will post it here. We have made it a few times now and it NEVER lasts more than 2 days. Everyone loves them so I thought I would share it here.
Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 3/4 cups Flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 sticks butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs & 1 egg yolk
2 cups chocolate chips
1. Combine all dry ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
2. Combine butter and sugars, add vanilla and eggs and mix well.
3. Add dry mix and blend, add chocolate chips.
4. OPTIONAL: (this is how we like it) place dough on a long sheet of syran wrap and roll it. Wrap it up and throw it in the freezer for a 2-4 hours. When ready to bake them, cut them into slices and let them thaw out for about 15 minutes. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and bake them for 12-15 minutes.
Simple and DELICIOUS.....
